Ohh... It's been a while since I last updated the develog, huh?
I've been pretty busy, so the game has been in an unofficial and unannounced hiatus since the beginning of February this year, but I'll be getting back to working on it, hopefully. Here's what's been added since the last develog, to my knowledge. Please note that these are all related to the demo, and not the final release.
Here's what's been finished/implemented:
- Finished Lisa's sprite set.
- Implemented chapter start flashcards.
- Mixed 3 tracks for the game.
- Finished 1 side character's reference sheet. (Needed for a demo CG + future sprite set)
Right, so what's next?
I have to:
- Finish mixing the main menu theme.
- Make 1 more reference sheet of a side character that appear in demo CGs, potentially 2.
- Make 4 more CGs.
- Make 6 more backgrounds.
- Adjust and potentially recreate one of the OST tracks I'm not entirely satisfied with.
- Design and implement the GUI.
- Mix a couple more tracks. (Icarus' theme, another everyday theme, unnerving theme)
- Implement a few more sound effects.
I don't like making deadlines since my motivation goes right out the window when I miss them, so I don't have a time frame for how long this'll take, or when I'll have a playable demo available, so please bear with me.
